I woke up to a scorching January heat. The sun rises at 5 in the morning and starts burning very early in the summer at the beginning of the year here in Mozambique. This causes not only terrible heat but also torrential rains that often cause floods.
It is common at this time of year for people to wake up earlier than usual and start doing their tasks. The most interesting thing is that the days are very long, and in heat like this of more than 35 degrees Celsius, those who do not have a fan or air conditioning suffer a lot. However, we are already used to this scenario and we manage to camouflage ourselves around here.
I started today’s article with this introduction because I believe that many are still on vacation at the beginning of the year, and after all, we are still early on 2026, and those who are here can take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Bilene, Ponta do Ouro, or even the beautiful paradise islands of Bazaruto in Inhambane. Mozambique, my dear friends, is very beautiful, and whoever says otherwise is not telling the truth.

Today I am sitting and thinking about how beautiful my country is, and even knowing that, I still have not explored even fifty percent of the territory. The most incredible thing is that it are my foreign friends who visit the country who know the place better than I do, even though I am native. I like this because it gives me motivation to work more, earn more, and explore the nation while at the same time bringing education about Bitcoin Cash to more distant people who do not have bank accounts or who do not even know that they can use decentralized money.
My struggle is hard, my friends, because I work in a very sensitive area, which is bringing the word about BCH to places where they do not even yet know, for example, a mobile wallet. It is necessary for the BCH community to understand that even in urban centers there are many people who know absolutely nothing about cryptocurrencies or even about BCH. I am amazed daily by the flow of questions I receive about CHAPA:
-
So what is it
-
How does it work
-
Is this currency really real
-
Is it not a scam, and much more.
These questions are not by chance, because the global idea of connectivity is that the whole world has access to the internet. The idea is sold for the world to believe that the use and enjoyment of the internet and the virtual world is large and accessible to everyone, but in practice this is not the reality. In Maputo and Matola there are remote places where access to the internet is practically nonexistent or limited. Here it still happens, for example, that people look for high places to get access to the mobile operator’s antenna in order to connect to the internet.
Mobile phone calls fail in many areas because mobile network penetration is deficient. I face situations like these every day because I have a small construction site further inland, and when I go there I almost have a nervous breakdown because nothing works: the internet does not connect, calls fail, and everything is chaotic. But I also start from the principle that the world was not made in one day, and gradually it was shaped, and after several years we have what we have today.
I am the one whom my neighbors call “the Bitcoin Cash guy,” but many do not even know what that is. Young people like me are more curious and whenever possible they come to me to learn more. I always teach with pleasure, and after six years doing the same thing every day, 7 days a week and three hundred and sixty-five days a year, it is time to work more on the ground by presenting meetups, meeting innovative merchants, providing consultancy for those who seek my services as an expert in storing and using money without needing a bank, and much more.
Below, my work website with all places where I work on for BCH.

Daily I learn a lot from people, and my predisposition to educate about Bitcoin Cash is not always well received, but as the saying goes, “soft water on hard stone hits, hits until it drills,” I keep insisting, and in the end I have people thanking me and saying, “after all, BCH really works.” I have already had this good feeling of hearing this from my Portuguese friend who sends money to his wife tax-free using Bitcoin Cash.
I also have several friends from Tanzania who use BCH to make purchases in China or even send it as remittances to their families. These and other examples are what make me continue in my struggle as a content creator, BCH ambassador, and now a mini-entrepreneur with CHAPA, all within the BCH ecosystem. I dream of creating a Bitcoin Cash Association here in Mozambique where all users meet regularly to talk about how BCH can be used in the territory and much more. I speak of an association because here people love the word since they feel that they are “associated” with something, and not like a BCH House, for example.
I will not run Fundme campaigns because I start from the principle that campaigns of this level have to present the fundraiser’s journey, its accomplishments, and much more as justification for the funding, while this type of venture is built on people believing that they have a safe corner where they can talk, learn, and use decentralized digital money in a fully pro-BCH environment.
It was along this path that I published my website on Vercel, where I seek support for my causes, both in the world of content creation about BCH, which educates and brings more people into the ecosystem, as well as for events such as meetups where people learn in real time how to use the currency for tangible things in the real world, such as paying for a service or even buying something like a coffee, exchanging it for mobile credit, or even paying a Netflix subscription, all using Bitcoin Cash.
Everything is possible.
Phew, it seems I wrote a lot, but it was necessary because I live Bitcoin Cash and associate everything with the ecosystem since I do not see myself using another functional currency for me. Six years in the ecosystem is a lot. For example, I have a daughter of almost two years, and she is much, much younger than my dedication to the Bitcoin Cash cause. This battle is not mine alone, and I always count on voluntary donations and tips to continue my local and international work. It is naive to say that I do not need support to continue, because for everything to happen, funds are needed.

Or to the Qr code below, thanks.

Therefore, visit my support page and do not be ashamed: send tips to my address and donations so that the world can know the great potential of BCH. Support local meetups, and by the way, I would like to thank the Cashstamps guys who made themselves available to sponsor the next Meetup happening on February 21, 2026. It is this kind of support that makes things happen and makes everything stronger. Visit the page and support.
Find me on Zora, and each time my coin profile get bought, I add more sats into my BCH vault
That’s all for today, and I will stop here and wish everyone, especially those in the BCH community, a prosperous New Year full of health and lots of Bitcoin Cash in their pockets so they can continue to support causes that deserve recognition and put the BCH brand at the top. In advance, thank you for everything you have done for me and for the community; after all, together we are stronger.
