EXPERIMENT: Connect instead of Swipe

EXPERIMENT: Connect instead of Swipe

By theinspired | Game of Life | 1 Mar 2020

I don't know, maybe it's me, but does anyone else find it a bit cray cray how we are constantly swiping to find "love" or that deeper connection? Does swiping work for you? If so that's awesome. However, my spidey senses says otherwise.

Can you really determine from a bio and a photo if you could connect with that person? Do we have to pay to get introduced to people?

I've swiped and swiped but nothing really becomes of it. I've paid for better access and the same results. I find that it's challenging to find connection by reading a few lines bio, an image, and the option to match or not match.

What if there was another way? What if you had the ability to have a fun way to break the ice, chat and find out more about each other? A way to introduce yourself to others in a natural way as you would in person?

I've created a community on Keybase.io - labeled Connection_Net - to create a place where we can connect and chat with others in a way that would stimulate deeper conversation and maybe the stars align? Since this is brand new, it's unlikely that you will find someone in your area but as time goes on - it's my hope that you will.

This is a complete experiment - maybe it goes well - or maybe it tanks hard lol

WTH Let's try!

Step 1: Go to Keybase.io

Step 2: Create and account

Step 3: Search for Connection_Net - find the subgroup that interest you

Step 4: Introduce yourself

Step 5: Connect! ;)

Note: This will be a moderated community and while I am not against the whole hook up culture - there is an app for that lol Keep it classy!

Game of Life

A newsletter designed to encourage and inspire you to play the game of life the best you can. While some don't believe that life is a game and I'd agree, it's multiple games on several levels; it's not just one game. There is a game of health, wealth, relationships, career/education, faith, and rest/relaxation. It's not a game from the perspective someone wins or loses but in theory and dynamic.
