This week splinterlands weekly challenge battle they did not focussed on any specific card instead they focus on specific ability i.e opportunity.
If you have read my last post , I already mentioned about "Screeching Vulture" , a monster that have flying + opportunity ability and have scavenging ability at higher level.
I think this will be a perfect opportunity to me to show the "Screeching Vulture" in action.
So Let start with ruleset.
It is "Odd one Out" ruleset with 14 mana only.
My team in order
Lyanna Natura(Summoner) Lord Arianthus,Screeching Vulture,Brownie and Creeping Ooze
Opponent team in order
Pyre(Summoner) Living Lava,Creeping Ooze and Serpentine spy.
Let me describe my team selection.
1.Lyanna Natura
+1 health is nice when you are going to use low HP monster due to mana limitation (14) .
2. Lord Arianthus.
It come with ability like reflect,void,throns and shield. It is difficut to take down and its nice health in first position give screeching vulture a much needed cover.
3. Screeching Vulture
Since it is 14 mana battle , I am hoping a lot of low HP monster in lineups, It will be perfect to hunt down these low HP monster(by virtue of Opportunity ability) and gain +1 health (due to scavenging ability) . Flying ability and original swiftness of 4 will make it hard for opponent monster to hit it directly.
4. Brownie
1 mana card having "inspire" and "swiftness" ability, It is perfectly helping my screeching vulture.
5. Creeping Ooze
It is doing 2 functions , slowing the enemy monster and saving my tail.
Let move towards the battle.
This is the first screen shot, with all the monsters and summoner abilities activated.
My Screeching Vulture took the opponent creeping ooze while opponent is not able to take my Brownie, thanks to +1 health by lyanna natura.
This time Screeching Vulture took the opponent Serpentine spy and it is now very clear that I am going to win the battle so I am not putting the other screenshots.

Interesting fact: Apart from summoner, all the monsters used in my team are rewards card.
