Earlier we reviewed the Exorde protocol, preliminary information about its tokenomics, and how we can earn EXD tokens.
Let's check out what news we have today from the developers of Exorde.
Data Collection.
Developers have already built a software, soon to be downloaded freely (and open sourced), allowing user to parametrize an automated web scraping bot. This bot uses AI and crawling techniques to wander the web to find new information. This bot will be connected to the Exorde protocol and will send new found data frequently.
Developers are working now to add more options. For example, to focus on one website (e.g. Twitter), to control how far the bot goes when exploring. Developers are giving this software a simple desktop interface & are currently improving its performance.
Overall, the progress on the Data Collection & the Exorde Protocol is significant and developers wish to have it all relatively mature when releasing the Testnet. This will allow the Exorde Labs Data team to focus their efforts on the most relevant features for Exorde, the weeks following the Testnet launch.

Explorer.
Developers are creating an explorer (a publicly accessible interface) to monitor all the activity passing through the test-net protocol. It will be composed of the three following parts:
— an indexer that catches all the data and writes it in our own database;
— a server to process all the data;
— a front page to display all the data.

Protocol-wise.
The Exorde DAO is deployed in a first test network, and staking/rewards features are being tested at the moment. Developers are also implementing data pipeline and checking if everything is smooth enough for Exorde Testnet v1.

What else?
The developers also said that current litepaper outdated and will be updated after test-net launch (expected mid/end-June).
The WorkSystem architecture has changed too. The skeleton stays the same but we have made major changes to reward computation and to the overall data-processing pipeline. These changes will be made public on test-net launch.
Exorde’s goal remains the same: to track the propagation of information all over the Web. Developers want to tie all the information all over the world together, to fight against polarisation on social networks, and to help everyone get a better view of a story by being able to read all sides of it. Neutrality, transparency and decentralisation remain the main keywords of the protocol we are building.
