During these uncertain times when the prices of your favourite cryptocurrencies drop like crazy many investors, especially those with smaller starting capital, might be looking for additional ways of earning crypto to increase their wallet value for the bullrun. Obviously, there are many ways one could do that, such as games, faucets, apps with tasks etc, however, one of the most fun ways (at least for me) is watching videos.
There are multiple sites that I know of that offer some type of rewards for watching content on them and I think it’s worth to share and shortly describe them so more people can join and gets themselves a few coins more.
- JungleTV
JungleTV (https://jungletv.live/) is a project created by the Banano community which allows users to queue up videos for others to watch. You pay in Banano and when the video finishes, every active viewer receives an equal portion of the amount that was paid to queue the video. Usually the price to queue a video fluctuates between 5 and 10 BAN, which of todays value is about 0.03 to 0.07 USD. There is an active team of moderators that ensure that the videos played are safe and don’t contain any inapropriate content. The typical queue consists of music, meme videos and educational content.
Additionally, moderators constantly run different raffles and contests that allow you to earn cryptomonKey NFTs (freely distributed meme rich NFTs on the WAX network) for queueing videos.
This platform is a favourite of mine, because I enjoy the Banano community as well as the coin itself (Nano and Banano as its’ fork both are instant and feeless and seem to work perfectly for these purposes).
- CryptoVision
CryptoVision (https://cryptovision.live) is a „crypto-centric video sharing platform where the rewards are just a bonus. Visionaries queue YouTube videos and the community watches the ever-evolving playlist together”. Basically, CryptoVision is the Nano copy of JungleTV. Here the costs to queue a video is paid in Nano, same as the rewards. In my opinion, the main difference is the content played there. While JungleTV can have a lot of memes and shorter videos, CryptoVision’s queue consists almost entirely of longer music videos (at the moment of writing, there is a 2 hours 90’s music megamix playing for example).
- hideout.tv
This website (https://hideout.co/) is quite different than the previous entries because it’s not a video sharing platform, but something more similar to YouTube, but with the added bonus of earning rewards for watching ads between and during videos. As you can read on their website, „HideoutTV & its sister video sites enable our users to earn points in the most entertaining way possible, thanks to our carefully curated content with tons of great new videos added daily!”. The usual content on this site is food. In fact, almost all of the videos are about cooking.
In order to receives these rewards, you have to create an account using your email, Google account or one of your social media accounts and link the account to with an external site such as PlayNANO (https://playnano.online/) which allows you to exchange points for Nano or an app like Cointiply (https://cointiply.com/home) which allows to exchange Hideout.tv points to Cointiply points that can be paid out in various cryptocurrencies.
I’m sure that there are more websites that work in a similar way, but these are the three that I use and can vouch for in terms of functionality and payouts. I hope that these tips can help you spend the bearmarket in a better mood and earn a few coins in the meantime. Enjoy and don’t hesitate to share other similar websites in the comments for others to enjoy.
