Today was a complete surprise. I went for a walk, as I would in winter – a hat, a warm jacket, and then the temperature surprised me. I had to undress after a few dozen meters. Indian summer.
Dzisiejszy dzień to zupełna niespodzianka. Wyszedłem na spacer ja w zimie - czapka, ciepła kurtka, a tu zaskoczenie temperaturowe. Musiałem się rozbierać kilkunastu metrach spaceru. Babie lato.
The walk was interspersed, partly in the park, partly by the pond, partly to the supermarket, and partly on the balcony, as renovations are nearing completion.
Spacer przeplatany, trochę w parku, trochę nad stawem, trochę do marketu i trochę na balkonie, bo remont na ukończeniu.
The birds have been fed, as has been the case lately, and their numbers are increasing. Jackdaws and crows are breaking records in visitation. Is this a harbinger of a harsh winter?
Ptaszki nakarmione, jak to ostatnimi czasami bywa, jest ich coraz więcej. Kawki i wrony biją rekordy odwiedzin. Czy to zapowiedź srogiej zimy?
