Pochmurny ale bezdeszczowy dzień

For the beginning of November, the weather can be considered quite kind. Although it is overcast, there is no wind or rain, and the daytime temperature hovers around 8–9°C. Word has it that the whole of November might be like this—and I certainly wouldn’t mind.

Jak na początek listopada to aurę można uznać za łaskawą. Co prawda jest pochmurno, ale nie wieje, nie pada a temperatura w dzień oscyluje w okolicach 8-9 kreski na plusie. Podobno taki ma być cały listopad i nie mam nic na przeciwko.

There are very few mushrooms in the forest, though the occasional young, edible specimen still pops up. Perhaps a warm November will bring a few more.

W lesie grzybów bardzo mało, natomiast pojawiają się jeszcze sporadycznie młode jadalne owocniki. Może jednak ciepły listopad przyniesie trochę grzybów.

Work on the fence is progressing sluggishly; I can really feel autumn outside my window. The days are so short that by the time I finish my basic household chores, I’m left with barely 2–3 hours for other tasks. That’s just the nature of autumn.

Prace przy budowie ogrodzenia idą opieszale, bo czuję jesień za oknem. Dzień jest tak krótki, że zanim ogarnę podstawowe obowiązki domowe, to zostaje mi niespełna 2-3 godziny na inne prace. Taka uroda jesieni.
