I really enjoy writing blog posts for publish0x. I have tripled the number of blogs since my wrote about Publish0x. I've used a few other crypto blogging and posting sites, and none of them come close to this site.
The big advantages are:
- The active user base.
- The ease of withdrawals.
- The expanse of blog posts.
You can find blogs about anything. I write this one about my slow and steady journey towards a whole bitcoin. I also have my Financial Services Survival Guide and my CBI (Consumer Burger Index). So crypto, professional advice, and burgers. You can find travel, food, and even health blogs. If you want to read about anything you can find it.
If you have a passion project, or a topic that interest you, or you just want to journey, Why not write about it? its great practice and rarely do I get negative comments about anything. Unless I write about the pi token network. Then the knives come out.
Some things I don't like about Publish0x
- Native tokens.
- Tip sharing.
- No incentive for comments.
- Dislikes
I don't know if this is my opinion alone, but I feel like publish0x got a bit worse when they added Spot. I don't really understand how it could a inflation resistant stable coin could ever work. From a basic point of view if its pegged to USD and USD is suffering from inflationary pressures, then how could Spot not also suffer from the infaltionary pressures that it's underlayer is suffering from.
From a less financial engineering stand point, it just makes it harder to withdraw. I have about $10 USDC just sitting in my publish0x account because I can't be bothered to figure put Metamask. Having spot available on other chains may change my mind, but at this point I just find it annoying.
Having the whole site run exclusively on Etherium would attract more writers.
I mentioned this in my last post about Publish0x but the tipping system and the comment system still need to be worked on. Its time to get rid of the slider. pick an amount for the tipper. pick an amount for the tipped. Make it a single button clicked and move on.
Comments should pay a fraction of a tip. Or authors can tip valuable comments. Something needs to incentivize more activity.
Lastly, ditch the thumbs down. Its useless. I would rather someone have to type out why they hate pi economy than just hit me with a thumbs down.
I still love this platform. I hope the devs see this, and take some of these constructive criticisms to heart. I just want every one to succeed.
Just keep building.
