1 BTC Project - July Recap.

Not spending money every month on the COIN subscription is a wonderful thing. I keep harping on it but I think it is important to highlight the added level of stress that feeling like you owe an app your time creates. This experiment is a lot more fun when its fun. My earn is not as high as I would like, but my spend is so low. At this point I am only buying dips. I have not committed to a monthly DCA buy, but I am close. Maybe Q4 2024.

Highlights:

Bitcoin Miner is still the strangest and seemingly one of the most effective ways to stack small amounts of BTC at no cost.
A Rollercoin withdrawal is within striking distance.

Lowlights:

My fountains are still building to withdrawal limits so nothing from COIN, Cointiply, or FireFaucet.
Too aggressive on a trade attempt and made no gain, but no loss either.

As per my last post about the $SWEAT economy I am no longer tracking it. $SWEAT and Pi Network are both so deep in the penalty box on miracles will get them out.

This is similar to buying at a 32% discount to the market. Sometimes, you need to spend a little to make a little. This is also not counting anything I earned on Publish0x because I getting a new floor put in and I couldn't grab the figures. So the earn is slightly higher.

Shake Pay is the G.O.A.T. No ifs ands or buts. It is incredible how well this app works. My #ShakeStreak is at 250 days. So I can add at least 870 Satoshis to my stack every day. Add in the other features like Cash Back, Round Up and my Shake Squad bonuses and this is the foundation of my build.

I am shocked that this is real. It honestly is so dumb that it feels dirty and illegal. This is a game that uses all the tropes of terrible app marketing, and it actually pays out. Look at this add. It even shows inaccurate "game play" for no reason. That miner is not an asset you ever see in the game.

They also have an ad that uses a fake expert being interviewed about the game. Everything about Bitcoin Miner points to it being sketchy and fake, but it works and it works well.

LOOK AT THIS MAN! Who is he? What podcast is he on? Can I be a guest on that podcast?

This in tandem with the Watch and Earn ads on ZBD, Bitcoin Miners payout sister app, I added $6.50 of Bitcoin. It takes 2.5 months to get $6 of XYO off the Coin app and 1.5 months to get anything off of Cointiply.

Do I recommend this game, yes. Do I think it could go insolvent at any moment, also yes.

T3. Cambly and Receipt Hog

More "off-chain earning" but it works. I usually count half my Cambly earn as currency paid, but over the last month I have had free Priority Hours where I get paid $2.50 to be online for an hour not talking to students. In fact as I write this I am 25 minutes into a priority hour, and it is unlikely that a student will log on to talk to me. Its like double quite quitting. I am getting paid by my 9-5 job, and Cambly concurrently to blog on Publish0x.

The new strategy for receipt hog is to scan in any receipt that I find. If someone left their at checkout I will take that and scan it in. I have submitted receipts I found on the floor. It doesn't matter just put them in. If I worked at a grocery store, pharmacy, or convenience store, I would be doing this all day and abusing the app until they catch on.

I am shopping around for a second app like Receipt Hog so I can double dip. If anyone has a referral code please let me know.

5. Publish0x

I did a fair amount of blogging this month and it paid off - pun intended. I also played a game off the Offerwall to get the remaining USDC off of the site and into my wallet. That always helps.

Good activity with little competition is why this cracked the top 5. Having this rank so high means other sources were not pulling their weight.
