Splinterlands | Staking more SPS with time to reach my goal faster

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the midweek with your family and friends and also playing and enjoying the game in your free time as well. The last ranked season in splinterlands has just ended and a new season has begun already and right now, there are almost 14 days left for this season to end, so we have quite some time in our hands to accumulate those daily focus and season reward chests before the timer again hits zero. Like most of you, I have also started to play in the ranked arena and for today’s focus mission, I got the Earth as the rule and finished playing for the day after collecting 9 focus reward chests which will be claimable tomorrow. I also climbed the trophy road a bit today as I was getting more wins than losses today and reached myself almost near Champion II tier with a current trophy count of 3,944 and if luck favors me tomorrow, I think I can gather another 56 trophies and reach Champ II faster this time. However, most of the OG players were still taking a break after last season end’s bloodbath war while I was playing today, but soon they will join the battle again and I may lose trophies and ladder down tomorrow as well. Last ranked season I couldn’t reach the top 10 spot in the Champion League which I am still mourning about so this season I am going to play more seriously and will try to secure the place a bit earlier to avoid the last minute haphazard playing which cost me badly the last season, but let’s see how it actually goes in this ongoing season.

On the other hand, I am as usual winning, collecting and restaking all my SPS rewards back into my wallet that I win from ranked battles, tournaments, brawls and from my staked rewards. Just some days earlier, I reached my short-term goal of staking a total of 135k SPS and shared a post about my achievement, but when I checked my current SPS staked balance, I had 138k + staked SPS already, So I am very happy with my SPS growth and hope to reach my goal of staking a total of 200k SPS sooner. Apart from my playing SPS rewards, my staked rewards have also been increased by a lot and while back in time when I had a little SPS staked amount, I only used to earn a negligible amount of SPS as staking rewards, but as I am continuing staking all my SPS earnings back into the in-game wallet for a long time now and also started buying from market and staking, it is creating a snowball effect and not only giving more kore snd more SPS as staking rewards per day hut also increasing the battle reward SPS amount whenever I win a ranked match.

Looking at the speed of my staked SPS growth and if I can buy and stake some more while the low price of SPS lasts, I think I can reach my staking goal within the next 4-5 months. With the start of Rebellion pack pre-sale, the DEC price has increased rapidly and is currently being traded around 0.92$ per 1k Dec on the secondary market and I am pretty positive that there’s not much time left before it touches back its soft pegged value of 1$ per 1000 Dec. But, as all the in-game rewards apart from leaderboard prizes have been converted to SPS already and the new DEC mint supply has been crunched drastically, that will help the Dec to claim back its soft pegged price mark even faster. In the long term, it will affect the SPS price as well because once the dec hits its pegged value and stays there, people will start converting SPS for Dec, because the secondary cards market and the rental market still use Dec as currency and not SPS. Hence, the SPS will also benefit from this and will gradually see an increase in its price I think. But it is just my wild speculation and not financial advice at all and no one can predict the future with 100% accuracy.

Anyways, moving forward let’s now check the current status of the ongoing pre-sale of the upcoming Rebellion card-set which will be the 5th edition core card-set in this game. A total of 9.5 million packs will be minted in the Rebellion edition and among them, 500k packs have been listed for the pre-sale While the rest 9 million will be available in the general sale which will get started in December around the 1st week. Among those 500k packs that are for sale in the pre-sale event, already around 300k packs have been sold away and only a little More than 200k packs Left, which I believe will be gone within next week,

When the general sale gets started, the Rebellion cards will also get introduced to the game and by then, we can open our Rebellion packs and start using the cards in battles. The Rebellion edition will be used in the modern format and it will replace the untamed edition cards in modern ranked. This is the reason why untamed card prices have been falling sharply while Chaos and Riftwatchers cards have not so much. Anyway, this ongoing crypto bear season has made me so poor that I couldn't invest in the pre-sale, but I am already preparing myself for the general sale and will start looking for high-level rebel cards on the market once the general sale starts and if people start listing their cards for sale at cheap prices. So right now I will try to save some money and when the general sale Kicks in, let’s then see how it goes..

I hope you liked reading my post and also got a little Motivated to stake some more SPS. By the way please don't forget to tell me What’s Your plan regarding the Rebellion sale, have you already bought into the pre-sale, or preparing to jump in soon, or will be waiting for the general sale? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
