When you go to the Google play store and you type in: "crypto miner" or something similar, you'll get all sorts of apps that promise to make you money for free. But is that actually true, and is it worth it?
In this article I will look at the top three mining apps in my opinion. There are definitely other mining apps out there, but some of them have many reviews that claim they never got a payout or the app simply just stopped working, so of course I didn't include those.
1. StormGain
Stormgain is a relatively new crypto trading app that also includes a crypto miner that will run for 4 hours! They have many backers and sponsors, and their app is full of guides and tutorials to help you get started.
As a way of encouraging people to try out the app and earn their trust, Stormgain added a cryptominer to the app. All the profits made through mining can be used in trading only, but you will be able to withdraw all the profits you make from trading! You will earn about 0.45 USDT per day from mining according to the app.
So my advice would be to learn as much as you can through the app and then give it a try in their demo account before doing it for real. You've got nothing to lose anyway! In the best case scenario you'll trade your way up to even more profit!

2. Pi Network
Pi is a cryptocurrency being developed by a team of former Stanford University Phd graduates. Although the currency hasn't been listed anywhere or is even finished yet, you should get in as soon as possible!
While it's still in the early stages, you can mine at a higher rate through the app. The more people join, the slower the mining becomes.
Pi has big ambitions, they want to become the main cryptocurrency for everyday people.
All you have to do is get the app and press a button every 24h to keep mining, and best of all it doesn't use any battery or processing power on your phone!

3. ThunderCore
ThunderCore is the developer of the Tunder Token. The Thundercore Hub app has a lot of things build in, an exchange, a wallet, dapps, defi, but most importantly a miner that mines the Thunder Token!
Simply just open the app and claim your tokens from the miner every 24hrs, if you do this you'll often receive a daily bonus. On top of that if you hold your tokens in the app's wallet, you'll also earn a 6% interest rate!
I personally belief that Thundercore has a lot of potential. Transactions on Thundercore are confirmed within seconds! They have big plans and I'm curious to see how it will turn out.

LTC and EOS Cloud miner
These apps are from the same publisher and are very nicely designed. Every 30 minutes you can claim your profits, and then the app will continue mining again. The reason I didn't include these in my main list is because of the relatively high minimum payout, and I haven't withdrawn any money myself yet, so I can't confirm if they are legitimate. They do have a score of at least 4+ on Google Play.
