Vitalik Buterin said the Ethereum Foundation is staking about 72k ETH using DVT-lite (Distributed Validator Technology).
He noted the approach allows multiple nodes to share a single validator key, enabling institutions to deploy distributed staking infrastructure more easily through automated networking and distributed key generation. Buterin said the goal is to simplify node operation and improve decentralization, ideally allowing institutions to run staking nodes with simple Docker-style deployments.

US Banks may sue over Crypto Bank Licenses
Banking giants like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and American Express are considering suing the U.S. OCC over its decision to grant national trust bank charters to crypto firms. Banks argue issuing these licenses to crypto firms could pose risks to Americans and the wider financial system.
Firms receiving approvals include BitGo, Ripple, Paxos, and Fidelity, with conditional licenses also issued to Crypto .com, Bridge, and Stripe.
