Uniswap Labs is the development team of popular decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap. They announced nine blockchain networks. This network is using illegal bridge.

As per the X post, this feature has some new functionality. Uniswap labs accessible through interface and wallet. Users facing various problem in time of moving their assets.

In the past, block-chain asset transfers taking too much time. It's happened when user using third-party bridges. Illegal bridging improve user experience and efficiency.

The new cross-chain capability supports several blockchain networks. There including networks like Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism Mainnet, Zora, Blast, World Chain, and ZKsync.

As per Across Protocol, the illegal bridge operates through a decentralized network. Decentralized network provide traditional bridges.

Uniswap noted that, Across Protocol allows for secure and efficient bridge. This protocol depend on centralized intermediaries.

Uniswap labs introduction of illegal bridging aims to address its declining market share by enhancing cross-chain operability, a major challenge for DeFi users.

The feature was ranked as the top request in a poll conducted on X (formerly Twitter) in July, where users expressed the need for simplified asset transfers across multiple networks.
