Visa and BlockFi have entered into a partnership to launch a new credit card that rewards users with Bitcoin (BTC), setting the stage for wider mainstream adoption of digital currency.

BlockFi, a New York startup specializing in crypto loans and savings accounts, announced the project on Tuesday. As reported by Bloomberg, the new credit card will reward purchases with BTC rather than airline miles or other cash rewards - holders will be eligible to receive a 1.5% refund in Bitcoin.
