One of our friends suggested that this week, instead of the usual "mid-week" mountain hiking program, we visit the sea and walk on the beach, and finally take refuge in the nice and warm waves for swimming.

As I waited impatiently for such an opportunity, I gladly accepted the request, especially knowing that there was not much time left until the end of the summer and that maybe next week, the monsoon rains would begin and the time for swimming in nature would end.

The sea, this powerful, oppressive, and passionate body, delights us when we stand in front of it with its blue majesty.

That day when we put foot on the soft, beautiful sandy beach, the cool morning air was pleasant, but there was no breeze.

As soon as I stepped on the sand, I started running involuntarily on the shore while the waves hit the ground. The sand was such soft and comfortable that many even took off their shoes and ran freely, as I was ahead of them all, the cool air was pumping into my lungs as if there was no stopping for this immense energy. We ran several kilometers and it was really enjoyable.

I could not calculate the exact distance considering I put my phone in the car, but drops of sweat falling from my forehead were a good sign of this amazing run.

After a while, we prepared ourselves for swimming, and that day we had one of the longest and most passionate dips in the sea. I tested all kinds of swimming techniques I know in blue water for about an hour.

I didn’t want that day to come to an end. I knew that with the end of the hot summer, this might be the last chance to enjoy this endless sea. With the rippling motion of my body on waves, I looked at the horizon and with all my being I wanted to stay in this moment forever.

Maybe I come here, once more.
