When you want to climb a high peak with the least equipment, the most important thing you can rely on is your own physical and mental strength.

In that regard, our climbing group that had planned to prepare for the Sabalan adventure (the third highest peak and the most difficult peak in Iran), decided to challenge itself with yet another summit called “Tilar”.

Tilar, with a height of 2865, is one of the high and attractive peaks of Talash in the north of Iran. which has fertile pastures and a very steep slope. It is extremely tiring, especially at the beginning, but not very rocky and hard to ascend indeed. Only the sharp steep held you back both ascending and descending.

The route was pleasant and the cattle grazing on the route made the view spectacular.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the summit sign was removed due to a local dispute. Folks were saying that the locals believed that this peak should be called "Til Band", while the peak is known as "Tilar" among mountaineers, and even many businesses in the city are called the same name.

It doesn't matter if it is "Tilar" or "Tilband"... the view here is unique, I thought.

However, when you climb to the height of 2800 meters of Tilar, the most beautiful attraction is the clouds that lie below your feet and play with your mind and soul.

It's as if you want to fly, while the height that has trampled the clouds becomes scary.

There... up there... where I was standing... I realized that my head is no longer confused, and even when we came back, we hit the heart of those clouds (fog) and came down running eagerly … such a thrill…
