***I am going to Republish this thread as telling people not to tip it had it buried and no new authors saw it, so until I speak with Publish0x staff about how to go about that, I will cover the one person who signed up the moment he puts up his first article and then basically re-run the offer with a higher reward.***

This "challenge" was created to help encourage new authors to write articles here on Publish0x.

The thumbs up button could be helpful to ensure I find new authors and this post does not get buried to the point where that becomes a challenge.  I don't care about the profits for this post, I just want new authors to see it.

While there are multiple perks to this bet, I will say that I will be far more generous if I see some skill.  I promise you the 1 BAT each, but read on for more...

While this article will hold the entirety of the bet, it's also in the recruitment stage.

My reputation relies on my ability to do what I say I am going to do and that is what makes me any money here.

If I am wrong, and any of you do not make the minimum, I will pay you all manually/individually after 72 hours directly from my Coinbase account and post payment proof both in image and in blockchain URL.  I would be banned if I failed to do so, and trust in this... this would not profit me even if all of you made nothing, Publish0x is a good earner for me.  Better than I expected by far, which is half of why I am encouraging you to write!

Now, the offer!  HERE IS THE BET!

I bet any new author on Publish0x (I am currently willing to put up 50 BAT to start, may go up to 100+ depending on how hard new authors are to find!), and for the sake of those who just joined and may already have a few test articles out there like I did in the beginning - you can also participate.  I'll limit it to five articles already posted since I felt like I was starting to get a feel for it after 5 articles.

Now the bet is really simple.  I bet you that any article that you write as a new author will make at the minimum 1 BAT in 72 hours.  This doesn't include your DAI earnings.  72 hours, whether it's your first post or not, and that post will make 1 BAT no matter what so long as it meets the minimum criteria for Publish0x articles.  By minimum criteria, I mean everything you hit the agree button for prior to posting an article.

If after 72 hours you do not have 1 BAT or more, I will pay the difference.

The purpose of this challenge and ultimately my payouts is to generate new content and bring new authors to Publish0x.  I believe this will lead to more recognition for Publish0x as a whole which will lead to more tippers and more quality content... which should just keep spiraling out of control, in theory.  Other tokens may take notice of this and think "hmm... if we support the writers they will write about our tokens... let's let that viscous circle keep going."

Publish0x has been kind to me and this is my way of giving back.  It's also my way of remedying what I see to be common issues here, rather than complain about them, I intend to help solve them.

How to enter:

1) Write your article of choice.  Either find, or make an image title for it.  If you found it, be sure to include the link in your resources.  Finding one in Google images is perfectly fine so long as it's in your resources or otherwise cited.

2) Make sure you Timestamp it at the top (Example: 04-02-2020, 12:22 PM Central Time Zone) and then come back here and post the link to your article and the timestamp in my comments.  I will be going in order of post date/time for accepting new authors so if you see me saying it is filled in a reply comment to your post, the bet is now active between us and will be honored.  You have my word.

3) Include your receiving BAT address.  Incorrect addresses will not be honored; I will have blockchain proof for each payment.

4) New authors first applied are new authors first approved.  First come, first served.

5) If everyone makes the minimum, I'll send every participant 1 BAT each anyway.  Encouragement to tip your fellow authors!

Other information to know:

You are allowed to edit your articles, I often do to fix typos or toss up a new graph due a recent change, etc.

You do not need to mention me, this bet or anything related to it in the article.  Only the timestamp that matches my comments!

Remember why I am doing this, please.  I'll honor my word, but I hope to see some new authors and hidden talent come out on top because of this!
