Yes, Crypto Coins...But with...Memes?

If you merge crypto coins and memes you'd probably get nothing else other than Doge Coin.

You probably have never missed that cute Shiba Inu with an awkward look on his face. The name's history lies way before the creation of the coin. First of all, a teacher named Atsuko Sato took the pictures of a dog he rescued, Kabosu, and shared it online. Things took off pretty quickly. First the picture was on reddit. Then on Tumblr.

A tumblr user uploaded a post with a voice record misspelling "doge". Then it was out of control. It was all around the internet and finally the name "doge" settled with this peciluar picture on 2012.

On 2013, "Doge Coin" was released as a joke. And that joke turned out to be a pretty big truth! Now the coin and the meme are more popular and valuable than ever. Thank you for reading this short article!
