There once was a man named Fred,

Who loved to put mustard on his bread.

He'd pile it up high, And let out a big sigh,

As he savored the taste with his head.

But one day he went a bit far,

And he added a whole jar.

He took a big bite, And felt such a fright,

As his eyes watered up like a star.

His tongue felt like it was on fire,

And he screamed in his greatest desire.

He ran to the sink, And began to drink,

But nothing could quench his desire.

He learned a lesson that day,

That too much of a good thing could stray.

He put less on his bread, And his taste buds were led,

To a perfect balance, oh hooray!
