In a world that moves so fast, I sometimes find that I can't last,

In the constant stream of noise and lights, That seems to fill my days and nights.

I withdraw within myself, Seeking refuge on a quiet shelf,

Where I can hide from all the noise, And find a moment's sense of poise.

But in this solitude, I find, That something's lost, a piece of mind,

A connection with the world outside, That in my retreat, I try to hide.

For though the world can be so loud, And filled with chaos and with crowd,

There's something to be found in grace, When we reconnect with time and space.

And so I take a deep, long breath, And step outside, to face the breadth,

Of all that lies beyond my door, And let the world embrace me more.

The sun shines bright, the breeze it blows, And all around, life ebbs and flows,

And in this moment, I can see, The beauty that surrounds me, free.

For though I needed to withdraw, And find a space that's free from awe,

I know that now, I need to find, A way to connect with all mankind.

So let us step out from our shell, And find a way to break the spell,

For in this moment, we can see, The beauty that surrounds us, free.
