Late last year, details about a new Blockchain organisation with links to the EU began to emerge. The first mentions of the "International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications" used the abbreviation IATBA, but this has since been changed to INATBA, and more can be found out on their official website INATBA.org.
The first few articles about "IATBA" made some interesting references to the EU and Governments, as well as some big name banks looking to bring together companies that are interested in exploring the potential usecases for blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies. The big name mentioned in these articles was BBVA, which is a large Spanish Bank.
As time went on, other companies hinted at working with the EU and developing strong links within the blockchain sector, particularly with Banks. At the start of February more details emerged, and an official press release was shared by the EU commission.
Then on the 28th of February IOTA announced that they were one of the Founding members of INATBA. They were shortly followed by other well known blockchains and related start-ups. One of which was Unibright.
Unibright is already a member of the German equivalent BundesBlock, but being a founding member of INATBA is, for me, a big indicator of the teams hard work and reputation in the blockchain space. There are many big names on the founders page, and now Unibright sits at the same table as these well known blockchain "brands".
Membership of this group will open many doors in terms of business links, potential clients and future partnerships, but it also promotes Unibright as the "trusted" blockchain application for business to consider when looking for a blockchain based enterprise solution.
