I have to say, I am very very surprised how one can get crypto for playing video games.

Now, I have read about some of them that have their own crypto built into the game. I was playing some games on my phone for years before I became interested in crypto currency. Once I became interested in cryptocurrency, I no longer play any game that does not provide a tangible reward.  

I am not a big gamer, and do not really play games unless it is downtime and I can't do anything else. So, I have patience with it, and am willing to earn anything from cents to dollars per game played. I will have been doing so for nearly three years. I think I first invested in cryptocurrency in April 2022. Since then, with the time I have spent I earned approximately $1000 USD worth of Cryptocurrency. Now, given most of that was before this recent mini run, that $1000 has doubled or tripled in some cases. I am surprised at this in some ways, and in other ways that was the plan all along. I know cryptocurrency is a risky investment, but I was lucky or maybe smart enough to get in while the market was nearly 80% down from it's previous ATH.

I do not have the capital to invest large amounts of money, so I have been, and am a HODL'R. I have a trigger set of when I plan to sell that has two different trigger points that will lead to an immediate withdrawal. Neither is crypto going to zero. If it does, so be it. One trigger point involves becoming retire early rich, something like the FIRE (financial independence retire early) concept. The other is if crypto does not allow me to FIRE, then I will sell when I am at the actual retirement age. Now, that is decades from now, and I am hopeful but not counting on it that I can FIRE!

Back to video games, when one has patience, and understands that any amount invested over time, with interest can become a large sum over time. All I have is time, and it is not real money anyhow as I was playing the games free in the past. Over those few years, the time I was spending anyhow playing video games, has paid off to the point I am up a grand.  I laugh at how my free time was not used well in the past, and how that grand in the future if invested in the right crypto could itself make me a crypt millionaire.
