I generally like the idea of the slow burn. I like the idea of taking your time, being thorough, and seeing things through to success.
As I have been getting more and more into cryptocurrency, I have been finding there are many ways to invest. If you know what you are doing, and have some financial chops, you can buy and sell on mini runs of each cryptocurrency project. I am not one who has the time and the knowhow to be that type of investor at this time. I would like to be someday, but I have a little to much hesitation to be one to play that game.
I like the slow approach as noted above. So far I have outlined (in previous posts) some cryptocurrency projects that I have done initial research on like everyone's favorite Bitcoin, as well as Ethereum, Cardano, Jasmy, and Shiba Inu. To be honest I did make a small profit on Shiba Inu after a small 12% increase in a day this past summer. It was kind of by accident as I had read about Shiba Inu, and the more I read the more I disliked it potential future.
Find a good project, and I believe you will find good value.
As I was writing this, Cardano was up 15% on the day. I am sure many will take the short term profit, sell, and then Cardano will drop again. Sometimes I don't understand the short-sightedness of this world.
Whichever way you chose to go, I hope it suits you well. All I know is that you never really gain profit or lose money until you sell. You own a certain number of whatever various cryptocurrency. The price you paid is your investment, and it is only when you sell is when you realize that gain or loss. So the ups and downs mean nothing until you buy or sell.
I am running a marathon... Imagine if you had bitcoin when it first came out and didn't sell at it's first ATH? The cryptocurrencies I purchase may never reach the ATH of Bitcoin, but I will only sell as a profit in many years.
Thanks for reading. Again, nothing in my posts should be construed as financial advice. I know nothing, and am only writing as a way to think through my journey of learning about cryptocurrency.
