I have been using Brave and BAT for the past 3 months, and I just get my third payment and it is a good time to summarize what I think about it.
What are BAT and Brave?
Let's start with Brave. It is a Chrome-based browser, which is focusing on security(you can read more about it on Wikipedia. I am not starting the discussion if the Chrome-based browser can be focused on privacy and how Firefox is better.
However, the Brave is nice. All sites work it does not have a lot of memory leaks it is just a good browser.
BAT is the utility token based on the Etherium Smart contract. It is designed to be a providing decentralised approach to adverts on the web. It was designed to create the loop between the user, creator and advertiser. The advertiser pays with BAT for the advert, which is shown to the user and the user is getting paid for that. Additionally, users can tip the creator as well.
What are my earning?
The BAT is provided in the monthly cycle, currently, it is paid on the 7th of every month.
Currently, I am using 2 devices, computer and phone which both produce a total of 7 BAT, which is matching the earnings from the previous months. My use of BAT is mainly by clicking the notification with an advert a few times a day.
Conclusion
Mine earning with BAT is not very high, I tend to get more with my 70$ investment in CAKE. However, the adverts are not so problematic and I do not mind a free 10$ every month.
