Candy Bowl Recipe

So I don't know if you would consider this a craft or anything. But I consider it food because you can eat it. i use these for gifts around the holidays because they are cute and very convenient. You can use the candy to make designs. Though you have to make sure you watch this when it is in the oven, as it can easily be burned. Hope yo enjoy.

What you need:

1 bag Jolly Rancher Hard Candy(Or any hard candy)
1 sheet parchment paper
1 glass or metal small bowl(you can also use a short vase)

What to do:

Take your jolly ranchers and what you want to do is separate them into colors

Put them into separate bags(depending if your mixing colors or not)

Now I usually double the bags because you have to break up the candy by pounding them(not fine just enough that they are smaller pieces)

Take them an arrange however you choose on the parchment paper on sheet pan in a circle.

*I usually put blue in the middle then red and blue on the outside again

Place into oven(carefully watching this can burn)

This should take 3-5 minutes to melt. Once it is melted or looks like a sheet. Then take it out.

Place into freeze for 30 seconds. It should look like stained glass.

Place parchment paper with candy on the back of a bowl to cool you may have to form it a bit.(Be careful it will still be hot)

Once it is cooled you should have a candy bowl. Fill it with whatever treats you want to give for holiday gifts.

Enjoy
