TallyHo have announced that they will lance their own token that will be called $DOGGO. But how will they bring it to the market?
How to get $DOGGO into the hands of users
As I see it there are a few possible ways to achieve this. They could have a pre-sale. They could lance their token on a platform having it be a staking reward. Or they can do the one thing that is in line with their core value. That is being a decentralized wallet that is community-owned and operated. And how do you do this in a way that would allow for as many users to be able to partake as possible? Yes, the hint is in the title, good catch. =)
You do this with an airdrop. This will allow many users to get the token in a way that is affordable. Eliminating and "pay to play" aspect. Or minimum by order or such things that are common with pre-sales. An airdrop would instead allow for a community that is as numerous as possible. It is one of the best features of an airdrop. You can get your token in the hand of a lot of people.
This is why I think they have chosen this method. But to be more exact, it is not an airdrop per see. It is what is called a merkledrop. And as far as I understand it they are basically the same thing. Only a merkledrop is handled by a smart contract on the ERC20 chain. According to a blog post, the plan is to distribute more than one-third of all tokens in this way. This would mean over 10,000,000,000 tokens distributed in this way. As the maximum number of tokens is set to be 30,000,000,000.
They have also announced that there will be pre-allocation to investors, advisors, or the devs. Wich is also keeping on point with the goal and objective of the Tally Ho wallet. And I think this is truly one of the more amendable features of Tally Ho. As far as I can see they say what they mean and they back it up with their actions. And I am truly looking forward to seeing this project grow to fruition.
