I thought I would share some of the things I think about as I am creating a post here on Publish0x. With the hope, that you might find it interesting. =) 

My three pillars

I would like to, or I should say hope, that my content is of one of three types. Educational, informative or entertaining. At least that is the goal for me with every post I make. To try and have it fit within one of, or more, of these pillars of mine. 

If I am successful, I will leave you to be the judge of that. 

Educational content

One of the things I try and strive for is for my content to be educational. This of course is hard to achieve due to several factors. One of them simply being that the knowledge we all possess is so different across the plethora of topics. 

But as I myself am very new to crypto I think sharing things I just learned myself is a pretty good baseline. At least for now. 

Another goal I have with posts that educate, is I try and make them approachable to as many as possible. In practice, this means I try and explain things with the hope that as many people who read it can understand what I am talking about. And then also understand what I am trying to educate them on.

Someone way more clever than me has said that if you can not explain a topic to others. Then you do not truly understand it yourself. And that is a sentiment I also think holds true to just about everything.

Informative content

The second pillar is informative. And with this, I simply mean that I try and inform people of things that have happened, happening or are about to happen. 

This type of content generally falls into the "news" type. Meaning it is more for my, and people's general knowledge, rather than with the intent of trying to educate people on a given topic. 

I know that the distinction between informative and educational sometimes can be a bit blurry. But for me at least, I can see it most of the time. But it is perfectly fine if you ignore it and just consider it to fall under the educational umbrella. =)

Entertaining content

This is probably the type of content I struggle with the most. This is because for one thing there is such a wide variety of entertaining content. The second reason is probably the simplest one. It is because it is dam hard to create entertaining content. At least content that does not feel tryhard, but is genuinely funny and entertaining. 

At least content I feel falls in that category. But sure there is also another type of content that is not funny. Just because something is entertaining does not mean it automatically has to be ha ha funny. It could simply provide a bit of escapism. Something that will make you take your mind off that thing that has been nagging you the last couple of hours. Whether that is your mother-in-law or the fire alarm telling you to get up and out.

Hopefully, I am able to provide at least some content that would fall in this type of category. And So far the post I myself am most proud of is my conspiracy post.

But of course, the idea post would be one where I managed to mix as many of these types of content into one as possible. And as I said before. If I succeed at it, that is up to you the reader to decide. Well at least until I can get my global-minded control device to work. Stupid of the shelf brands.
