At this time it can only be described as no surprise. Celsius reports that its customer's emails have been leaked to third parties by an employee of one of its business data management and messaging vendors.
Celsius has repeatedly shown they don't cair about you so why should their subcontractors
Celsius has repeatedly shown that all their care about is themselves. This has become evident in everything they have done. Encouraging their customers to HODL the $CEL token, while Alex is selling it time and time again.
Actively encouraging people to put their money into the platform up until the day before they went bust, despite them knowing as early as lat 2021 that they were insolvent and had financial problems. As stated in their bankruptcy filings.
Trying to file for a type of bankruptcy basically leaves the customers holding all responsibility for their bad deeds, while they get to "restructure" and continue on as if nothing happened. Trying to file this type of bankruptcy despite the rules clearly saying they cant. And instead of filing the type that would offer protection to its customers. Al while claiming they have your, the customer's, best interest at heart.
We care so much about you that we waited until July 26 before emailing you about this. And we waited two more days before making it publicly known. Al the while customer.io put out an update on their blog on July 7th detailing the leak. This is how much Celsius cares about you. Waiting close to three weeks before notifying you.
But then again why would Celsius care that their customer's emails and information got leaked. It is not like the ensuing phishing attacks would result in anything. And no one can access their funds on the site. At least three weeks, that is how little they care.
But, my bad mood nonetheless. If you are or have been a customer of Celsius. Be extra wary of phishing emails asking you to verify your wallet or such things. Please be careful.
Personally, I wish that as soon as everyone has gotten their crypto back, Celsius would be burned to the ground, and everyone involved would get a lifetime ban from using the internet and starting any form of company ever again. But it might just be my bad mood speaking. So I apologize for that.
What is your thought on this whole Celsius mess? Do you still beliber in Celsius and that they have their customer's best interest at heart? Please share your thoughts on this and anything else Celsius related in the comment section down below.
See you on the interwebs!
