Celsius has crashed and burned, along with several other crypto lending firms. That I do not think anyone has missed. And that he was lying to people trying to get them to invest up till the day before they closed, I do not think anyone missed either. But what I do think people missed is just how big of a dush he actually is.
How much sleaze can fit in one man?
When I was a kid I dreamt of having Hordak´s Slime Pit for my He-Man action figures to play with. I would be able to slime anyone and anything. But that would only make them slimy on the outside. As I grew up, sadly I have become more and more aware of people who truly are slimy on the inside.
Just how sleazy can one man be? That is a question I keep asking myself a lot these days. Mostly because the goalpost keeps getting shifted further and further away every day it seems.
How much of a sleazebag do you have to be if you know your company is failing but you still keep trying to get people to give you more money. Knowing they will never see it again in 99.9999% of the case. In case you are wondering who would do such a thing. Look no further than Alex Mashinsky, CEO of Celsius.
Surprise there is more
When you thought that was bad enough. Up pops more news. At this stage, it is like a whack-a-mole game. Where new dirt just keeps popping up, only the player has given up trying to wack it down again.

What is this new thing that has been revealed? Well, the fact that Alex "the sleaze bag" Mashinsky has over time been selling of $CEL. To the tune of $44M. So what some might say. Well if he just did it in the open it would be one thing. If he purposely did it in a way to try and hide it, and at the same time encourage other people to HODL $CEL I would say it is a dick move.
Why is it a dick move you ask? Well, it ensures that he gets as much money out as possible, leaving others to hold the crap he left behind.
But again maybe it is me that is at fault. If they did one thing then why do I keep getting surprised when it is revealed they did other shitty things as well?
