Theta now more accessible - MetaMask plug-in and Meter Passport are available for use
Theta had a robust roadmap for 2021 which has driven great innovation this year. One key aspect was Inter Operability for the roadmap and below I detail out those two offerings.
What has Theta done?
Theta now allows Meter Passport and MetaMask Plug-in to allow better accessibility to Theta from ETH driven exchanges and tokens
What is Meter Passport?
Its a Binance Smart Chain (BSC) cross-chain offering which allows tokens to be moved from Theta network to other top blockchains.
What can you move via Meter Passport? Initial Theta tokens are not supported they will require more work. However, use to move TFUEL or TNT20 token on Theta blockchain to Avalanche, Ethereum, BSC, or Meter Passport.

Why is Meter Passport important not just for Theta but for all Cryptos? From a financial standpoint they are backed by DHVC and Pantera Capital two financial heavy weights. They are helping bring the guidance to make Meter Passport the premiere cross-chain offering in Crypto.
What is already supported?

- BSC
- ETH
- Moonriver (Kusama/Polkadot)
- No mention of other Crypto projects we might expect in the short-term.
MetaMask Plug-in - Not all exchanges support Theta - I know shocker. Binance is just on example. The MetaMask Plug-in allows you to bypass this restriction. To access this feature you must click on the Custom RPC feature within the MetaMask wallet (recall Theta has had RPC support since Summer) Don't overlook the hardware wallet support for this plug-in so you can pull tokens off your super secret hardware wallet.
What can you move via MetaMask Plug-in? Just like Meter Passport you can only transfer TFUEL or TNT20 tokens initially.
Summary - Theta continues deep and thoughtful investment for their Blockchain to be a long-term success by supporting the Top rated cross-chain bridge and Meter passport. I look for Theta to continue to properly invest to rule the Crypto Universe.
