While 70% of that population comes from out-of-state tuition payers.  While being known for innovation and higher education it has 33 Top rankings on University Guru site including Top Business and Economics school.

Brandeis University Computer Science is lead by Professor Hongfu Liu

The partnership with Theta is geared towards accelerating AI, and ML learning. Specifically in cluster analysis, data centric learning, as well as transfer learning.  Professor Liu can accelerate their computer science department learning by leveraging Theta's Hybrid GPU infrastructure. If one was to compare Brandeis University vs Stanford University

First let me address why I would compare Stanford and Brandeis universities? Stanford was the first university in USA to publicly announce a partnership with Theta. Brandeis is the second university. I present the comparison in terms of size and scope here in the USA.  That said, both are fresh Theta EdgeCloud customers, one will find Stanford as being ranked #1 in USA while Brandeis University comes in at #45. Not bad. Not judging either school in fact I admire both for partnering with Theta. And I look for continued advancements from both of these facilities.

Summary

Brandies is a medium-sized private research university with global reach, while partnering with Theta should drive world class AI skills under the tutelage of Professor Liu and expanding Theta's use cases here in the USA.  I can't wait for more USA based partnerships to be announced and I plan on bringing them to you!
