The Next Crypto Bull Run Might Not Be Led by Humans

We've devoted a significant amount of time asking the wrong questions about the next crypto bull run.

Will Bitcoin hit $200,000?

Will Ethereum outperform?

What will be the 100x altcoin?

Well, which meme coin is going to explode?

Here are the questions that dominate Crypto Twitter each and every day.

But I feel like there's a more interesting question below all of them,

What will happen if AI gets to act on its own in the crypto market?

Not only deciphering charts.

Not only providing humans with trading advice.

Actually acting.

I believe that's the one that could make more of a difference to crypto than another Bitcoin ETF ever will.

The Internet Is Slowly Becoming an Economy of Machines

Until now, it's been people who have been clicking buttons on the internet.

We search.

We shop.

We subscribe.

We pay.

We create accounts.

AI agents are beginning to upend this model.

Consider an AI agent that is required to use a service.

It locates the service.

Checks the price.

Selects the right answer.

Pays for it.

And moves on.

The whole process might take place without any human input of a credit card number.

This is a futureistic, though not impossible, scenario, where the direction is clear.

AI is going rogue.AI is becoming independent.

Crypto, however, was built on the concept of programmable cash.

Combine these two things and something interesting occurs.

Machines have an instant financial system they can directly interact with.

I'm really starting to see the opportunity there.

AI Agents Don't Need Banks the Way Humans Do

A person could possibly open a bank account, apply for a card and manually approve transactions.

An AI agent doesn't necessarily need that experience.

It needs:

A way to hold value
A means of transferring money.
An option for collecting payment.
A mechanism for proving that transactions have been carried out.
A means of communicating with digital services

Programmable wallets and blockchain networks can offer all of these benefits for crypto.

I believe the biggest crypto story of the coming years won't be another token.

It could be machine-to-machine payments.

Suppose there were thousands of AI agents communicating with one another. What if there were thousands of AI agents that could communicate with each other?

One agent requires information.

Another provides it.

A third confirms it.

A fourth supply computing power.

They pay themselves automatically between each other.

There is no employee from the bank.

There is no need for any human to approve each transaction.

The AI economy might one day be an economy in which software isn't just the use of money.

On the other hand, software is an active transfer of funds.

The Real "100x" Opportunity Might Be Infrastructure

One thing that crypto investors enjoy is finding the next 100x cryptocurrency.

I understand why.

It's fun to have the chance to turn up something early.

However, there is an issue.

Most people are viewing the surface layer.

The token.

The price chart.

The market cap.

In the meantime, there might be some of the biggest opportunities down there.

If AI agents are going to be an economic reality, they will require infrastructure.

They'll need wallets.

They'll need identity.

They will have to have payment mechanisms.

They will need means of communication.

They'll need decentralized computing.

They'll require systems that can take actions without relying on requesting permission from humans all the time.

This means there's an opportunity for a new financial infrastructure in the AI economy.

Crypto may be one of the layers that will support it.

Now that is a more interesting concept than who's going to have the next big pump!

Your Wallet Could Become Your Financial Identity

I think individuals tend to underestimate this additional shift.

Today, your identity is scattered across hundreds of platforms.

You hold an account with Google.

An account of Instagram.

An account with the bank.

Video game account

A record of purchases.

Credit history.

The various firms have different versions of you.

There is a possibility presented by blockchain.

Currency can serve as a transient digital identity.

It isn't necessarily your real-world identity as in a passport or driving-license, but a record of what you own and who you interact with and what you have done.

Now picture the fusion of that with AI.

An AI agent can one day learn what you like and communicate with decentralized services for you.

Your wallet may not contain only your assets.

It could become the economic interface between you, AI and the net.

A far better future than merely glancing at your portfolio each morning.

But There Is a Huge Problem

Well, there cannot be any certainty about this.

The greatest trouble is belief.

Would you actually allow artificial intelligence to handle your finances?

What could potentially occur due to its mistake?

What would happen if a hack occurs in an AI agent?

Imagine if it conducts thousands of transactions undetected.

What if an individual created a counterfeit AI agent made to steal funds?

These are not minor issues.

They are huge.

They represent the reason the infrastructure behind AI and crypto may become very significant.

It may not be the most exciting stories that end up winning the project.

Perhaps they will be the people to solve boring problems like security, verification, identity, and accountability.

The mundane infrastructure may drive a very exciting future. The Next Crypto Cycle Could Look Completely Different

The Next Crypto Cycle Could Look Completely Different

Every crypto cycle is different. 2017 was about ICOs. 2021 was about NFTs, DeFi, and P2E.

What will the next big one be?

It might not be about humans buying tokens from each other.

It might be about humans AND machines engaging in the same digital economy.

AI agents could be users. Wallets could be identities. Blockchains could be settlement layers. Tokens could be incentives.

Suddenly, crypto isn’t just another investment category.

It is becoming part of the infrastructure for an AI internet. That's the thesis I am following, not because I know which token is going to be 100x, but because I think we're about to enter a fundamental phase change in how AI, money, and the internet will work, and the largest gains will be for those who figured out the infrastructure prior to mass adoption.

The End of 'Wow' AI: How Intelligence Became Invis

By 2026, the "wow" factor of AI has faded into the background. It is no longer a spectacle in a lab, but a silent architect of our daily choices—telling us what to buy, when to sleep, and how to work. This post explores the "Silent Shift" from active decision-making to algorithmic guidance. As AI moves from responsive tools to proactive agents, we examine the rising importance of human judgment and the hidden cost of outsourcing our thoughts to invisible intelligence.
