Ahhhhh... good old Humble Bundle... sometimes you get some killer subscription drops... and other times, you get ones that are probably more appealing to someone else! Last month was an absolute gem of a drop... this month, not so much for me. There are a few games that I'm interested in, but most of them aren't really catching my eye initially... lets see... maybe after I have a closer look, perhaps there will be something that will be interesting!

Hell Let Loose is the headline act for this month... and I'm afraid that it might have been a game that I would have been interested in about two decades ago. Multiplayer (up to 100 players) FPS set in World War 2... I'm afraid that I was never really very keen on multiplayer games... and as I've gotten older, I've also just gotten slower and worse at them! So, despite the fact that this MIGHT be a good one... it just isn't for me. Straight to the store.

Kingdoms of Amalur was a spectacular and expensive failure... there was so much money thrown at this game and development studio... and despite coming out with something decent, it eventually caved. So, the epic series wasn't quite finished... but what was produced was quite promising. The remastered edition will be a keeper for me... I never played the original despite hearing about it all the time (probably that is why the studio crashed... people like me...). So, here is my chance to play the updated version to see if it was all it was cracked up to be!

Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice is a standalone expansion of Shadow Tactics... a top-down stealth-em-up set in Imperial Japan. I started the original... but never really finished it. It is in the same style as the Desperados series... I really should just finish it. So, I will be keeping this expansion for when that happens... whenever that might be.

RoboQuest... an Early Access game? Hmmm... not that keen for that to be appearing in the subscription. It looks like a clone of Borderlands, but with rogue elements and being a robot instead.... It looks like a bit of easy fun with a friend, but I don't like playing games with friends. So, straight to the game store this goes...

Eldest Souls looks like a retro 2D version of the Dark Souls franchise. Sigh... I need to get through the real Dark Souls... and so, I think that I'm not going to be keeping this one. I have a number of 2D slashers, and I don't need or want to play another one.

UnMetal looks like a retro homage to Solid Snake... stealth and 2D side scrolling. Nope... I'm not that keen on the retro nostalgia! I like pushing my machines to the limits...

Raji looks like a beautiful game for my kids! Or me... I like the new and fresh setting of an Indian based gameworld! After all, we have had too much of the regular Western fantasy and World War 2 settings... so, the idea of exploring a world that is new and interesting is quite enticing! Doesn't hurt that it looks pretty too!

Morbid is another top down, rogue-like, RPG... with retro styling. It has decent reviews, but I'm afraid that this sort of game isn't really that interesting to me. So, I'm going to give it a pass and send it straight to the game store.
