I'll be honest with you, this is my first time experiencing a crypto crash. Being a relatively new crypto holder and all that. But I'm used massive swings as I was in the stock market during the March 2020 crash. Seeing that crazy drop off and a lot of my money going with it is terrifying. But crypto has too much to offer, far more than the stock market offers. The projects that the crypto space has built or is building make me feel more intrigued than scared.
Knowing that there are NFTs that allow people to own digital assets in games and art is amazing! And knowing that there are hundreds of different crypto related software and development as well as defi projects to try and fix a broken financial system is great. The stock market was a way to make money, but crypto has so much more to offer. Buying and selling a cryptocurrency like a stock on the stock market is the typical thing to do, but staking a cryptocurrency and linking with the blockchain that it's attached to is just so much more enticing for me. It's the feeling of actually being apart of something.
Elon Musk tweeting that Tesla isn't going to sell it's Bitcoin is great for the overall crypto market. But it doesn't really matter considering countries like China and India have started to talk about crypto bans. Whether or not those bans from some of the worlds largest economies occurs or not, it's definitely going to shake up the crypto markets for a while. But I still intend to keep on hodling for the long term. I feel that the global financial system is broken and crypto seems to be going in the right direction to fix that broken system.

If anything, this market crash allows me to buy up some more tokens at a massive discount and stake them to their blockchains to get more crypto. In turn, I will be able to help out a project that I believe in. I've seen some articles talking about how the crash might be quite a bit deeper. But there are always some people out there that are bullish or bearish on anything. It is obvious to me that a crypto market crash isn't something that I should really worry about. Especially considering all of the great new projects that come out of crypto.
I might just be trying to calm my own nerves, but I'm still shaky about the future of USD. Inflation is expected to increase and considering how much of the United States Dollar has been created in the last twelve months, I'd expect it to be way worse than in recent years. Inflation is actually the main reason I got into crypto in the first place. My faith in the USD has been waning and I think that crypto will replace it. Whether that is Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency we'll wait and see. All I know is that I am hodling into the future!
