A week ago, I walked over the clinic compound and saw an interesting slime mold. I'm not a funghi expert even though i studied Biology (or better I am nearly finished if the stupid depression would not have destroyed every try I did on a master thesis so far), but I think it could be a yellow tan blossomor witch butter from the species Fuligo. In my research over that funghi I learned that they are a delicacy in the Veracruz area of Mexico that is grilled and called <<moon poop>> (no kidding; source: https://de.zxc.wiki/wiki/Gelbe_Lohblüte). But i guess you want to see a picture. So this was a week ago:
But a few days later the gardeners where there and this beautiful slime mold was gone. So I guess you can imagine my suprise when i passed the spot during my daily morning walk and there it was again. This time you could see why they are called slime molds. I hope you are not too disgusted by the view, but I guess for some people this picture can ruin vanilla pudding (sorry for the image in your head).
I think what we can learn from this kind of funghi is to be resilient and relentless. Stay strong even if the world gives you a notion that you are not accepted where you are and what kind of person you want to be. Or just be amazed by nature's ways without that motivational BS if you dont like it :)
Have a good day and stay strong.
