Be Still and Know That I Am God (Psalm 46:10).
Deep within the nucleus of the heart is the true essence of Being, of Source; your true self - ethereal yet infinitely connected to God. The Great I AM is closer than hands and feet. God is transcendent and immanent simultaneously and totally beyond human comprehension and understanding. Love is the overarching message.
Whether or not we heed to the still small voice (Holy Spirit) is entirely up to us. The good news is that The Great Spirit of the Universe is imminent and directly accessible to all without prejudice! When we allow enough stillness to enter our consciousness, our minds can become one with Spirit, The Universe, The One and Only Eternal Source.
Dualism; the Great Farce. We have been brainwashed by the world since birth via the illusory sense of separation and dualism - yin/yang - good/bad - up/down - darkness/light - this vs that and other social constructs. Pretty much everything we’ve picked up since birth is really an illusion.
The Fall of Man is defined as the belief in good and evil. ‘Good and Evil’ are religious social constructs designed for control and power over the masses. The “world” then colludes with our ego resulting in the illusion of a false self versus your true authentic self. Psychologically, the mind has been severed from the heart; resulting in the illusion of “separate parts. But trauma, attachments, displacement, unrequited love, preoccupations, ruminations. All of these negative emotions affect us psychologically, neurologically, and spiritually. They cause us to separate ourselves from our fellow man. We feel isolated and find other ways to combat the suffering. But, we’re not a universe of individual parts. We’re all part of the perpetuity of God. The Great Spirit.
In our daily lives it takes commitment and focus just in dealing with the 24/7 global media barrage. It requires complete lifestyle change - self observation - spiritual growth - establishing minimum standards - worldview. Keep the Faith. With practice we can change our habits and conditioning. We learn by experiencing cause and effect; by growing more introspective versus being merely retrospective (remembering past events and ruminating painful stories). Negativity is Resistance.
Each of us devise our own ways of coping with loss and suffering. Many of us fall prey to substances. Drugs, alcohol, food; others of us find ourselves involved in codependent relationships, fetishes and sexual perversions, acting out publicly, extreme politics, social justice and on and on.
At the same time we must also resist human nature. There’s always the few that seem to have an insatiable desire to take shortcuts in life. If we are going to continue to progress though, we must get to the very root of our agitations, aversions and fears no matter the cause. No matter how long it takes us, we must learn to forgive ourselves and others; sooner rather than later.
Some of us, myself in particular, have had to learn the ‘hard way’ that the sooner we resolve our aversions and difficulties (moral and ethical codes; current worldview; politics; philosophy, relationships); the less resistance and suffering we’ll experience moving forward with our lives.
