We continue our walk through the Dawson forest and see some large Red Pine trees, we were glad to see so many growing in the area and they seemed to be doing quite well.

The trail we walked must not have had anyone on it for awhile we we came across many spider webs going across side to side on the trail we walked on.

We stopped at certain points where dead fall could be parsed through, looking for scorpions and other bark dwelling critters. We did find alot of mycelium which is a good sign its all being broken down.

We heard some interesting bird sounds in the forest but only heard it once or twice so hard to say what it was.
