A few days ago the Bees started visiting the boards I made for them. I finished up the webcam setup running USB and audio cables through the wall. These two cameras are facing bee boards that I have built to attract Mason Bees and Leafcutter Bees. The top camera is facing a set of Bee boards that I built in the winter with a wood router. I also left some Bee cocoons below in a pickle jar lid so they can be seen hatching as they are ready to emerge. These Bees are quite different to Honey Bees, they are not aggressive, I can wear normal clothes around them and they have never stung me. They are quite curious though and will get close to you, but they just go about their business as if I was no threat to them. They do not produce honey, or make a hive. But they do pollinate everything quite well. I have noticed an increase in fruit yield in the last few years since they started being around my garden. At this time Blueberries and other wild trees in the area are flowering within a 300 foot radius. The Bees will fly back and forth between flowers and the homes they are building. These solitary Bees spend most of the day foraging for flowers and mud to build their homes. Adding pollen dust inside the home for their offspring to feed off of. The adult Bees will fill in the home with mud, hence where they got the name Mason Bee. Leafcutter Bees cut pieces of leaves to make their home hence where they got their name.

The cameras are on from Sunrise to Sunset Eastern Standard Time. A microphone is also set up to hear the Bees in action.

I also added a few screens showing the current pollen count, current viewer count and by request of @manorvillemike I added the local date and time so its easy to tell what time it is where the cameras are.
