Day two was pretty wet, the rain would come and go throughout the day. And we found ourselves getting slowly soaked. Especially with @ryulincoln's tent flooding incident we found ourselves under prepared for the constant wet. Even my Ariat Boots fifteen hours in the wet mud started showing signs of moisture entering the boot. I need to get myself so good muck boots like @makinstuff had.
I cooked some food for everyone in the morning, some macaroni and goat cheese along with some ground beef. I enjoyed holding the plate as I ate from it adding warmth to my hands.
We were visited by the neighbors dog "Lady" throughout our time on the property. The dog was very friendly and wanted lots of petting.
@ryulincoln makes kindling to start a fire to dry out his clothes that got soaked overnight during the downpour. We talk about the lightning we saw over night and how intense it was.
The following night the temperature dropped by 25 degrees and we got some snow on our last night on the property. I bunked with @makinstuff and @ryulincoln slept in the truck. I checked on him first thing in the morning and the doors were frozen shut to the truck but he was warm and happy inside.
We only got a dusting of snow but being not used it to at all I found it alot of fun. It melted by the late morning but I did get to enjoy it before it thawed out. We headed back to Georgia that late morning when the roads started clearing of ice. Planning on going back to his property in the future, was alot of fun and next time ill be better prepared.
