RAISE THE ROOF
Today has been a wild day for me. I managed to break my Galaxy S10+ while at work. To be fair I was doing a work related task, but at the same time I didn't have a case on my phone so I had it coming. Doesn't make it hurt any less!
I left work a few hours early to make sure I had time to get to Verizon and get all the ducks in order to get a new functioning phone in my hands as soon as possible. Luckily, we were able to submit an insurance claim and they ordered a new one for me that could be here as soon as tomorrow. We'll see!
From this, I was able to get home at a reasonable time after I visited Verizon. I was able to get everything set up on my backup phone in the meantime and I still had time to spare for the evening. I was feeling a bit frustrated and needed to get out some energy so I decided that playing some Ring Fit on a work night might be the best solution.
Not only did I decide to have a good work out, but I also increased the difficulty level by 1 integer and BOY! can I feel it. We did so many squats today that my legs now feel like Jell-O. It was worth it though because it got my energy out and kept my mind off my poor broken phone (which is still laying next to me spazzing out).
I even managed to jog a mile in today's workout which is something I've been wanting to do more, focus on more running and distance. It may not have been a 100+ calorie workout, but it was a 1+ mile workout which is still an achievement for me!
