$WAXP To The Moon? 🚀
I don't feel right saying that exclusively. If you have been watching the markets (crypto and stock) you'll see that everything seems to be doing well so far this week. The odds of not owning an asset that did well so far would be slim to none.Â
With that being said, we can focus in on how this has affected my NFT collection. Every NFT that I have is linked to a corresponding WAX value. Which then is shown in a USD ammount for us to easily understand. In this way, I will always have a rough idea if what my NFT portfolio is worth just by doing some "quik maffs".
I have mentioned before that I have obtained a very rare cards over the short time that I have been involved in the NFT space. My too prizes being my Gary Vee card, my Tokenhead and Fortune Cookie cards, and a few of my CryptomonKeys. All have a special place in my heart, but they all have a $WAX value associated with their last tracked sale on the atomic marketplace.Â

The recent spike with WAX has cause the value of all these cards to jump tremendously. It's far more fun to see my pile accumulate rather than try to turn this into fiat or anything crypto currency. That would involve me listing and selling the asset for WAX, and then finding the best means to turn it to EOS. At that point I would need to find an exchange I would want to use to get the EOS and then I would try to swap it to USD and withdrawal it to a linked bank account. Yeah that all sounds like a lot of work so I might hold off on that until I accumulate a larger sum of WAX to begin the converting process.Â

I haven't been keeping up with a lot of the projects going on in the WAX world the last few weeks. I am not entirely sure what changes or updates are being rolled out that would cause such a wild spike on the WAX price. I also didn't see any wild and expense drops on my Twitter feed like I normally do.Â
I do know there was the recent drop of the Garbage Pail Kids at Target and Walmart that had redeemable NFT cards, but I don't think these "free" NFTs would cause such a demand for WAX. If there are any other reasons that might have caused the recent spike I would love to hear them. I'm always down to be educated!
Each day, more and more, the world of crypto and social media teaches me why it is important to stay engaged and excited. If I wouldn't have shown such a strong interest and excitement for the NFT space I would have never gotten the few cards to start my collection. I also might not have found the great communities to make new friends and find new opportunities in.Â
So if by chance got see me trying to swap some Aether, TLM, or DUST for some WAX, just know that I have a good reason for it. The market is hot hot hot right now.Â
What do you.fuya think? How are your NFT and WAX endevours going? Have you benefitted it struggled because of the recent bull market?
