This airdrop came at a time with the latest Whitepaper change. With the latest changes, the Card offerings are now near comparable stages with Crypto.com cards.
The cheapest level, which are offered for free, now comes with 100% cashback for Spotify.
The Saffron Card is comparable to Crypto.com's Midnight Blue card, but had the benefit of 100% cashback on Spotify.
I have did a comparison based on the staking requirements and tried to compare between Swipe and Crypto.com. You can review them and make your judgements below.
At the end of the day, it seems very attractive to at least get the free card from Swipe. Who doesn't like free stuff? However, as a frequent traveller, I am more inclined to go for the higher tier cards with Crypto.com as they offer free lounge. The staked tokens also earn 18% p.a. interest rates as well as an additional 2% interest on other Earn deposits (e.g. 6.5% p.a. for Bitcoins and additional 2% p.a. paid in CRO).
However, this is a good competition for Crypto.com and I hope it spurs both companies to do better for their users.
