First Impressions Are Not Always Accurate
Throughout life you are continuously encouraged to make a good first impression as it is believed to be the making or breaking of most of life's opportunities. Though for the most part this is pretty accurate, it is not always the case. I think a lot of people have avoided Read.cash because they have looked to the earnings being generated by content creator's posts and have decided that the effort to reward ratio is simply not worth it.
What they don't realize is that this is not where creators are actually generating their income. If you are unaware of the Read.cash model then this might sound a bit odd to you. We will look at how the majority of the income is being earned on Read.cash and why you could indeed be missing out on your piece of the pie!
The Tips You See & The Tips You Don't
When you visit Read.cash you will see a dollar amount underneath the posts, although many do not have any amount at all. This might create the perception that earnings are extremely low but it is only part of the story! I must be honest and admit that this is not a very accurate way to display earnings as it is incomplete and does not give the reader an accurate assessment of the post's earnings. These dollar amounts are tips given by other users who found the content valuable or worthy of a contribution.
Not many posts receive any valuable contributions in this way but rather through the Read.cash fund and this is predominately where the earnings are being generated on Read.cash.
How Does The Fund Work & Issue Rewards?
The first thing you need to know about the earnings generated via the fund are that they are only visible to you, the user. Simply visit your dashboard and hover over your wallet and you will see your current BCH balance in dollars, as well as the points you have accumulated for the day.
These points are converted to BCH at the end of each day and credited to your BCH balance. How much BCH you earn obviously comes down to how many points you accumulated relative to the other users.
In the screenshot above you can see I have gained just over 105 points for the day so far and there are many hours remaining to accumulate more. The fund currently stands at just over $211K and is distributed at a rate of $500 per day. So, if you manage to earn 1% of all the points earned on any given day, your allocation would be $5 for the day.
How Are Points Earned
Points are earned through the posting of quality content, along with meaningful interaction on the platform. Personally, I only respond when a comment requires it and ignore spam completely. You will have spam everywhere. Comment spam even exists on Publish0x and comments are not even monetized in any way on the platform. Some users still like to ride on the back of others by posting their referral links in the comments of articles that are trending and so on.
Keep it real, be active and you will earn points daily, which means you will be earning BCH. You can even withdraw $0.02 in BCH as there is no minimum, except the withdrawal fee which is $0.01. There is also no limit to how many times you can withdraw, provided you can cover the small $0.01 fee. There are other ways in which you can grow and gain more exposure but that will be for another one.
I hope this helps some of you that were perhaps initially discouraged. Read.cash is actually a pretty solid platform and definitely an avenue for consideration. All the best!
