With the U.S. Government playing havoc with the crypto industry some crypto exchanges like Bittrex have decided just to leave the U.S. all together. Coinbase could be following in there footsteps.
Bittrex announced its plans to "wind down operations in the U.S." because of "often unclear regulations". Bittrex has, in the past, had to pay the U.S. Government $29 million for "apparent violations". Bittrex still operates in most counties outside of the U.S.
With the Coinbase CEO expressing his support for the UK tweeting that they are "moving fast on sensible crypto regulation". He also said that he was "excited to keep investing in the UK". I'm not a genius but this looks like the start of a move to the UK for Coinbase.
He went on to give some useful tips for the UK on how to become more crypto friendly and save their seat for the future of crypto development.
Brian went on to star at UK Fintech week which Coinbase says this shows "just how seriously we are working in the region."
