Tezsure just released the pre-alpha open source code for OrO Nodes: the decentralized oracle network that is being build on Tezos.

Just 12 days ago Tezsure announced the development of OrO: a native decentralized oracle network that is build on Tezos for Tezos. Today, they released the oracle server and configurable adapter for development. Tezsure already had an oracle prototype ready in the beginning of 2019. So it's not surprising that they have something to show for so soon after their initial announcement earlier this month. This release invites developers to start up an OrO testnode to serve basic use-cases that can feed different datatypes from off-chain endpoints into smartcontracts build on Tezos. Tezsure has added sample contracts that are suitable for simple data-feeds like weather info and currency- or stock prices. More template contracts will be added over time. Off course anyone can also chive in to write their own custom contracts for OrO nodes.

Tezsure continues to build out the OrO project to eventually deliver a decentralized orcale network. More information will be released during the progression of the project.

"The network architecture and design is under work, it will be sybil resistant."

The OrO network is build for the Tezos ecosystem. It is not only intended for Tezsure use, but for any DeFi and dApp development on Tezos. The token to be used will be Tezos' native token: XTZ. Since the orcale network will only be providing data for Tezos-based applications, XTZ will work fine as token for the network.
