Galleon is a smart wallet for Tezos that supports both software and hardware wallets. Galleon is created by Cryptonomic, a "NYC-based startup committed to decentralization and digital sovereignty". Cryptonomic has been involved with Tezos since the very first announcement of the development of Tezos. The Galleon wallet is easy to use and has an intuitive user-interface. For every function of the wallet, they provide very clear tutorial video's that explain how to set-up and use the wallet. For example this video that shows how simple and fast you can delegate your XTZ to a baker of choice to earn staking rewards:

At the moment, Galleon is being upgraded to a new version. With this new version of Galleon the complete original codebase has been completely renewed, and exiting new functionality is added. Yesterday, a preview version was released: Galleon Preview 1.1.0b
New tokens now supported
The tokenstandard FA1.2 is now supported, which makes it possible to store the newest tokens on Galleon. Galleon One supports the Tezos-based Bitcoin Stablecoin tzBTC that is recently launched by the Bitcoin Association Switzerland. Also USDtz, which was launched a few days ago will be supported on the new version of Galleon. STKR, the governance token for StakerDAO will also be supported.
Sign & Verify feature
A new function added to the wallet is the Sign& Verify function. This feature makes it possible to securely share digital information through an encrypted and secure channel.
"With this functionality it is possible to confirm message signatures using the public keys posted on the Tezos chain. This enables secure communication and allows for ownership validation of keys."

More new features are expected to be announced soon and a mobile wallet version of Galleon will be released in the next few months.
