I'm already going to the third week in quarantine, I have work at home and my exits are only to go running on the mountain, in the serra da Santa Justa in Valongo.

Today I decided to do a trail with a lot of climbs, in order to change a little the usual training style that I have that is running.
From these photos it is clear that the climbs are aggressive, but it is only worth it when we reach the top. Objective accomplished.

In this forest there are two types of trees that are predominant: pine and eucalyptus.
Unfortunately, eucalyptus is more numerous due to the large plantation of this type of tree after the fires a few years ago.

In this pillar the following is written: "We are creating a native forest with the help of many volunteer citizens. Preserve it."

Most of the stones you see on the floor are slate. Serra de Valongo has a lot of slate that used to be used to create boards for schools.

I hope you enjoyed this new trip!!!
