Testnet Banner
Update The testnet banner has been removed from the default landing page of the web app. It was visible even without a wallet connected, which could have been confusing. The banner will now only appear if you’re connecting to the web app with testnet set in your wallet.
Rootstock Network Name and Logo Update
As part of the commitment to staying up-to-date with ecosystem changes, the Rootstock network name has been updated from “RSK” to “Rootstock”. The logo has also been refreshed to reflect their latest design.
Streamlined User Experience
The user experience on the BabelFish web app has been streamlined. Unnecessary information about transfer limits, minimums, maximums, and fees for Rootstock-to-Rootstock stablecoin conversions has been removed, as there were no fees or limits before. Please note that limits and fees still apply to external blockchains such as BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum.
New Feature:
Aggregated Stablecoin Balance A new feature has been added that enhances the user experience on the BabelFish web app. It allows users to see the balance of aggregated stablecoins on the destination chain without the need to check on-chain. Previously, if the requested amount of the specified stablecoin exceeded the balance in the aggregator, the user would receive a brief message stating “Amount exceeds aggregator balance.”
With this new feature, users can see in advance what stablecoins are available on the destination chain and in what amounts.
