Gas Fees

So I hear the Etherium network was pretty clogged up recently. Haven't gotten in on the trading action yet so I can't say what it's like now, but that got me thinking about wholistic being because that's what I like. This is the apocalypse, after all, and if we ever want to live to spend our crypto, we should probably take steps to improve our lifestyles.

Think about your intestines. The small and large intestines combined can hold a bunch of stuff. You might be surprised at how much unless your pre-COVID thing was hitting up buffets and feasting.

When the gastrointestinal (GI) load is high, resources are devoted to moving and processing food into poop.

Poop is pretty nutritious though, too, especially for single-celled organisms that don't have acidic stomachs and long GI-tracts. Many of them can ferment it into vitamins and energy.

That means you and your symbiotic singularity are pretty set after a meal.

You might be asking yourself,  "What symbiotic singularity?",

To which your vessel might reply, "Don't worry bro, I got you."

But your body can only do so much. When your cells are devoted to processing food, they aren't devoted to maintaining their integrity.

In the span of 50 years, a lot of those cells will have been compromised.

Depending on how you've treated your vessel, those cells could be compromised in 30 years too. Or 120.

These days, we have plastic crap and drugs and stuff in the water to deal with, so that's a constant resource drain too.

When's your you fast, you have resources to devote to detoxification and homeostasis. Plus, you don't have to spend time eating.

Like quitting cigarettes or uninstalling an addictive app, once you stop, you don't need it any more. Once you fast, you realize that you don't need to eat three meals a day. Or five small meals a day. You don't even need one.

But if you just make it one, or multiple in a shorter window of time, you can free up resources to maintain your vessel. Maintenance also includes dealing with the physical effects of mental stress.

We do need to consume energy when we use it, but energy is abundant, especially when carbohydrates are used up and our bodies begin to use stored fat.

A low-activity person can fast for a surprisingly long time, like on the order of weeks, and even a high-activity person can fast for a day without disturbing their gym gains.

But intermittent fasting is the best of both worlds. You get food and the benefits of an empty stomach. I am consistantly able to do 14 hours or more even with a family. 16 or more is ideal.

During the fasting hours, you can drink anything that is low in energy (calories), though preferrably not diet soda. You can eat small things around the size and energy content of a cherry tomato if you must.

During the eating hours, you'll probably eat more in your mealtime(s) than you might on three meals a day, and that's completely fine.

It's not that hard, so go ahead and try it. Your body will thank you.

Happy healing and crypto 😁✌
