I eat 30 Different plant species a week (again)

Hi everyone,

As the 2 weeks, before this have been a bit disappointing for me according to my new plant-eating activities hahahaha, I wanted to really put some effort into eating a lot of plant species this week. First of all, I had to change up my breakfast and put in more plants in my diet in the morning. Also, my healthy snacks could use some more variety with more different types of fruit and also including some vegetables would be a nice way to achieve more species eaten in a week.

Monday: 9

  • Breakfast: black tea
  • Lunch: wheat (bread), onion
  • Dinner: potato, apple
  • Snacks: coffee, tangerine, banana, green kiwifruit

Tuesday: 8

  • Breakfast: /
  • Lunch: tea, wheat (bread), mustard seeds
  • Dinner: zucchini, carrot, onion, button mushroom, bell pepper, garlic
  • Snacks: persimmon, tangerine, banana, raspberry, coffee

Wednesday: 7

  • Breakfast: /
  • Lunch: potato, green pepper
  • Dinner: lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, bell pepper, arugula, carrot
  • Snacks: orange, tea, coffee, blackberry

Thursday: 3

  • Breakfast: /
  • Lunch: coconut, cacao (chocolate), wheat (bread), coffee
  • Dinner: potato, green beans, onion,
  • Snacks: coffee, (rice crackers),

Friday: 3

  • Breakfast: /
  • Lunch: coffee, cacao (chocolate), coconut, wheat (bread), leek, carrot, bamboo sprouts, black mushroom
  • Dinner: bell pepper, onion, pickle
  • Snacks: coffee, tea,

Saturday: 2

  • Breakfast: chestnut, grapes
  • Lunch: tomato, lettuce, coffee, wheat (bread)
  • Dinner: potato, lettuce, bell pepper, carrot
  • Snacks: cacao (chocolate), tangerine, banana

Sunday: 1

  • Breakfast: /
  • Lunch: wheat (bread), mustard seeds, coffee
  • Dinner: potato, onion
  • Snacks: peach, banana,

Total count: 33

Again I did reach the 30 plant milestone but not much more. The goal from 50 is still far away. I eat too much the same things, them damn potatoes hahaha.

Breakfast is still very difficult for me but on the weekend when I had a bit more time I tried to at least eat something in the morning. On Saturday I just made a small plate with some chestnuts and grapes, not too much but at least something to fill my stomach. It also was 2 new species of plant that I normally do not eat. I’m such a fan of grapes but I don’t buy them often, especially when it’s winter.

I eat a decent amount of vegetables in my opinion but the problem is that almost every day it are the same vegetables that I eat, I need more variety in there. In the fruit category, I think I did much better this week, I brought in some blackberry and raspberry that I otherwise wouldn’t eat and I also kept the kiwifruit and persimmon as a standard fruit to eat in the week.

Maybe next time I eat more different types of plants, but I’m not going to set a goal anymore because it is too difficult hahaha.
